Genfiddich Global "AiR" Project

Since 2002, Genfiddich Global "AiR" P roject invites artists from all over the world to come to Granfidi Winery in Dufftown, Scotland from May to August every summer for the village residency program. The invited artists were inspired by the characters, history, cultural heritage and charming natural environment of the winery through the resident experience in three months, and created freely without setting themes.

Artist Jin Han's works often focus on exploring the relationship between the micro world and the macro universe through different perspectives and observations, as well as the homology of the human body and nature.

During this residence, benefiting from the great interest in the whisky production process, the time precipitation of the brewing process, and the cultural heritage, Jin Han brought acomprehensive series of wooden works such as"The Whisky Galaxy"" Stars in Cask " and "The Drunkard Castle",integrating the exploration of the essence of whisky and the relationship between people and land into the indescribable universe.
